A recent documentary/feature film ISLANDMAN, was filmed on the west-coast of Ireland. Directed by Éamon de Buitléar and filmed by Cian, this project received funding from Bord Scannán na hÉireann - The Irish Film Board and Foras na Gaeilge. ISLANDMAN is a film about an exceptional race of people and of one man in particular, Johnny Bailey, whose life was so different to our own that he might well have come from a different planet.
The film was recently awarded first place in the Man & Sail category at the Festival of the Marine in St, Petersburg, Russia.
